The first edition of “Jaypee Gold Standard Mini Atlas Series: Pathology” is being brought out on demand of those users who believe in the dictums: “brevity is beauty” and “a picture is worth thousand words”. This minibook includes brief account of most of the commonly encountered lesions in pathology for a graduate student of pathology, all of which are accompanied by gross pictures and labeled photomicrographs. Though small and manageable in size to fit into the pocket, it includes the entire spectrum of pathologic changes in different human diseases. The minibook is divided into 4 Sections: General Pathology (Chapters 1–13), Systemic Pathology (Chapters 14–26), Cytopathology (Chapters 27-28) and Haematology (Chapters 29–33). The chapters are small and highlight the salient features of applied and practical value in pathology. A discernible reader who has earlier read a particular topic of pathology from the main course book will be able to recapitulate the contents easily and quickly.
