This book received the Outstanding Book of the Year Award 2010 from the National Academy of Science and Technology, Philippines based on the criteria of quality, originality of content, contribution to science and technology and the thoroughness of documentation. Contains 350 photographs, 70% in color of diseases, anomalies, tumors of female children’s genital tract; 90 ultrasound pictures in 2D and 3D correlated with histopathological examination of specimens removed at surgery, done through different routes (transabdominal, transrectal, transperineal and transvaginal) to get the best view of the patient’s condition or anomaly.
